Storytelling photography for families who find beauty in the everyday.

I create documentary-style photographs for families who want to remember the beauty of everyday life, the connection, wonder, and little moments that make it uniquely theirs.

Things you might want to know

1 What does a session with you feel like?

My sessions are relaxed and easygoing. I’ll guide you throughout when needed, but there’s no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and stand still. If using props I will invite the kids to choose what they would like to explore first. I’ve found the best photos usually happen once everyone settles in, plays a little, and stops thinking too much about the camera.

2 Where do sessions usually take place?

Most of my families choose either an outdoor location or to take photos in their home and backyard, where everyone feels comfortable. If shooting at an outdoor location, I will  choose a spot based on the kind of atmosphere you’re drawn to and what feels most natural for your family.

3 How do you guide us during the session?

I keep direction very gentle and natural. Instead of stiff posing, I’ll usually guide you through small movements and interactions so the session feels comfortable and the photos still feel like you. If your child is investigating an insect or telling a story, I will interact with them by asking questions to make them feel comfortable.

4 How do we book a session with you?

You can fill out the contact form with a few details about yourself, the type of session you’re looking for, and any dates you have in mind. I’ll get back to you with availability, pricing, and the next steps from there. When booking a mini session the locations, dates and times are already set and you will choose from the calendar what works best for you.

Planning your session

Send me a message via my contact page so we confirm a date and time for your session, and discuss the details. From there, I will pick a location that works best and start preparing for the day of the photoshoot. Once I send over the contract and it is signed, your day will be locked in! I’ll also invite you to create an inspiration board with any shots or moments that are especially meaningful to you and that you’d love for me to capture.

Session day

I recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so we have a little time to settle in before we begin. We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, enjoying a cup of coffee or a few snacks, and chatting about what you’re hoping to get out of your session. This gives everyone a chance to relax, get comfortable, and ease into the experience before we start shooting.

Editing and selection

Two to three weeks after the session you’ll receive an email from me with an invitation to view your photos in a private beautiful online gallery. I will also send you a PIN code to use for downloading the photos. I will send over a few sneak peaks within 48 hours of your shoot.

Prints & albums

If you want to print your photos, you’ll be able to order all types of prints, wall art, greeting cards, or create a full family album, right inside your online gallery. You place the order, and everything gets delivered to your doorstep.
